Each year the centre of Bournemouth is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s paradise, as dozens of stalls packed full of gorgeous Christmas gifts line the streets surrounding the town.
These day trips run on Wednesday 9th & Saturday 12th December 2026
The Bournemouth Christmas Market is inspired by traditional German Christmas markets and features a variety of stalls were you can enjoy crafts from both local traders and further afield.
There’s plenty of choice when it comes to food and drink at the market, you’ll find chalets selling festive favourites such as, mulled wine, bratwurst, hog roasts and roasted chestnuts.
If you fancy a Christmas tipple why not visit the centrally located Alpine Lodge Bar where you can enjoy live music at selected times.
The Christmas Tree Wonderland is a festive trail featuring replica Christmas Trees from around the world featuring enchanting illuminations and displays.
If you are feeling more adventurous why not enjoy an ice skating at the rink in the park.
For those of you who want to enjoy Christmas shopping the Town Centre is the perfect place to visit with its variety of High Street shops all within walking distance of where you are dropped off!

The coach will be leaving the Island in the morning to arrive in Bournemouth at lunchtime. You will then be given the afternoon at your leisure to explore Bournemouth and the market. The coach will then depart late afternoon to make its way back to the ferry port and the Island.
