Dobson Enterprises is headed up by husband and wife team Chris and Maddy Dobson. Chris is a fully qualified teacher with over 35 years experience in the primary school sector. He is also an accomplished Marine Wood Carver. Maddy is a qualified nursery nurse and keen photographer. She also sets up and runs Pop Up Art Exhibitions including the very successful art4sail which is now part of the Cowes Art Trail during Lendy Cowes Week.

Dobson Enterprises is headed up by husband and wife team Chris and Maddy Dobson. Chris is a fully qualified teacher with over 35 years of teaching experience in the primary school sector. Latterly he has been running a training social enterprise which teaches vulnerable adults, school refusers, autistic adults and the homeless life skills and employability through the medium of carpentry and wood carving. Chris is also an accomplished Marine Wood Carver and teaches this on special Learn To Carve Days Maddy is a qualified nursery nurse and has a Level 3 NOCN qualification – An Award in Education and Training. She is a keen photographer and has taken part in exhibitions at Green Buoy Arts in Cowes, and as part of a fund raising exhibition for Cowes Week Fireworks and supporting world renowned marine photographer Hamo Thornycroft plus around 50 other Isle of Wight based artists. She has also been Chairman of the Cowes Business Association and has sat on the committee and working committee for the mini DMO Destination Cowes, Cowes Week Ltd Shoreside and Cowes Week Fireworks. At present she is the Lead for the Island Art Marquee at The Royal Isle of Wight County Show which exhibits around 25+ artists. Maddy also sits on several committees for the Island Sailing Club.
