The Derby dates back to 1780, and is still ranked the greatest flat race in the world.
With winnings of £1.25m up for grabs, the Investec Derby has one of the biggest prizes in UK racing, matched only by the prestige that victory brings.
It remains the race that everyone one wants to win, as horses and riders push themselves to the limit around the unique and challenging course.
This trip runs on Saturday 2nd June 2018
The Upper Tattenham Enclosure – admission included in price – is an open aired grass area situated next to the Grandstand, great viewing by the rails running the length of the finishing straight up to Tattenham Corner.
It is a pedestrian area with entertainment and a variety of food and drink units. There is access to the rails and bookmakers and sight of the big screen plus a large marquee for cover. You can also bring food and drink for personal consumption into this area.
There is no official dress code but guests are encouraged to dress appropriately.
The first race is scheduled to run at 2.00pm with the final race pinned in for 5.30pm.
Island pick-ups will be in the morning ready to catch the 9.00am vehicle ferry over to the mainland, arriving at the racecourse at approximately 11.45am. The coach will then depart at approximately 6.00pm to make its way back to the ferry port for the 8.00pm ferry back to the Island dropping passengers off later that night.
