The Isle of Wight is known for its dark past, and this evening tour is the original one to showcase the historically sinister and spooky side.

Your tour – which lasts up to three hours – includes:

• Pass through Godshill – at The Griffin Pub, who is the woman wearing a back Victorian dress, with a very prominent hook nose? Is she one of the Island’s witches? Hear about the sinister atmosphere which surrounds the village Church
• Stop at Shanklin – learn the story of Francis who haunts the Vernon Tearooms. And what about strange goings-on at Belford Lodge?
• Pass by Ventnor – hear about the real life tragedy of the Ghost Ship. She is still seen sailing around the Island to this day
• Stop at Ventnor Botanical Gardens – explore the most haunted place on the Island, where your guide will tell you all about its past
• Stop at Isle of Wight Pearl – discover a host of stories & the sinister past that will be told on the night
• Pass by Yarmouth – learn about the strange goings on at The Albion Hotel

Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure. Pick-up point is from the Isle of Wight Council Coach Park beside Coppins Bridge in Newport. Pay and display car parking is available at the pick-up location.

You will be offered the opportunity to purchase hot drinks and snacks at each stop.

The luxury Hummingbird coach features an on-board toilet and washroom facilities. Children of all ages are welcome if travelling with an adult.
