So, we are absolutely delighted to announce our latest collaboration with the fabulous Isle of Wight Distillery.

This award-winning business is home to the famed Mermaid Gin.

The first and only distillery on the IOW was licensed in 2014 by lifelong friends Xavier Baker and Conrad Gauntlett. By combining a wealth of experience in brewing and wine-making with the finest local ingredients.

Inspired by our Island setting, they use ethically sourced and natural ingredients to create a range of premium spirits with a contemporary style.

The range is hand-crafted in small batches and slow distilled before being cut with local spring water and bottled right here.

Mermaid Gin boasts locally foraged rock samphire and elderflower, fresh citrus zest from Sicilian lemons and peppery grains of paradise, complemented by Boadicea hops grown in the local botanical gardens at Ventnor, English coriander from Sussex, orris root, angelica root, liquorish root, and juniper. A refreshing and invigorating serve.

Meanwhile, Mermaid Pink Gin is infused with local fresh strawberries from Arreton. The result is perfectly balanced, subtle yet vibrant, less sweet than most pink gins with no added sugar.

Finally, Mermaid Salt Vodka is shot through with a pinch of local sea salt, enhancing its smoothness and accentuating its subtle flavour. It is an ideal flavour enhancer for adventurous cocktails, or a classic dirty martini.
