About this deal

THE GREAT WIGHT BITE IS BACK WITH A WEEKEND OF GASTRONOMIC ENTERTAINMENT!!!

Calling all foodies…The Great Wight Bite is back at Northwood House on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September.
Crammed full of incredible food, drink, the Island’s best chefs and a sprinkling of culinary stardust, it’s set to be an epic weekend of gastronomic entertainment.
This year the festival welcomes the legendary Gennaro Contaldo, mentor to Jamie Oliver and one of TV’s most loved chefs.

Gennaro will be supported by the award-winning writer and broadcaster Chris Bavin who will be hosting the Chefs Demo Stage.

Joining the team this year is drinks writer, broadcaster and Gurnard local Helena Nicklin who’ll be popping up on the Chefs Stage and delivering fab masterclasses showcasing the best of the Island’s drinks scene.

In 2023 we were delighted to have the Island’s most exciting and talented chefs join us and this year will be no different.
Stay tuned for more culinary announcements…and plenty of tasters at the event.

Last year the Little Chefs Den was a sell out.
With guest appearances from our celebrities, plus the incredible ‘GC’ from the Smoking Lobster and the totally lovely Fran & Holly from Nunwell Home Farm.
We’ll shortly be announcing a fab line-up of cookery lessons for little ones, plus new for 2024 are adult cooking courses, all served up beautifully by the amazing Ben & Holly Cooke from The Little Gloster.

We’re doubly excited to announce The House, Cowes will be curating our festival pop-up restaurant.
Led by the incredibly talented Head Chef Matt Egan who’ll be showcasing his skills…a must book for foodies looking for a dash of festival refinement.

With over 80 food and drink stands, plus a huge dollop of retail therapy you’ll be able to graze and sample the best from Island and south coast artisan producers.

It wouldn’t be a festival without some great foot tapping live music.
With the main stage hosting blues, country, folk, pop and rock…plus headlining on Saturday night is Ultimate Elton tribute band.

For more information, booking tickets £10.00 for adults, £5.00 for 6-16yrs or keeping up to date visit our website…
