Solent Cruises Ltd are celebrating a big birthday – 60 years in the business!
The Island-based company operate in and around the Solent and Portsmouth area.
The family firm have an extensive fleet of vessels – including Ali Cat – which can hold anywhere from 75 to 500 passengers.
They operate regular boat trips from Cowes to the likes of Gunwharf Quays Shopping Centre in Portsmouth, The Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth, and Ocean Village in Southampton.
This deal is for a return day trip taking in the ports of Cowes and Portsmouth.
You will depart from Cowes at 10.30am and cruise through the harbour – world famous for yachting – before heading out into the Solent with fantastic views of the Island coastline, Osborne House and Norris Castle.
The boat will then cruise on across the eastern Solent with views of the Solent sea forts and into the Portsmouth Naval Base, home of the Royal Navy, past and present.
You will then return back to Cowes at approximately 1.30pm.
This trip sails on Wednesday or Thursday from March to September. It departs from Thetis Wharf Terminal at 10.30am and lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours.
