Hovertravel provides the fastest Isle of Wight ferry route across the Solent from Ryde to Southsea in just 10 minutes.
It is the world’s only year-round passenger hovercraft service.

It’s a great Experience package for gifts, Fathers Day, and just for those who are amazed by the Hovercraft.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy a 20 minute demonstration flight in the Solent, where the craft shows off many of its top, flexible capabilities – including an impressive 360 turn on the spot!
The pilot talks through each manoeuvre and highlights special sights to see along the way – including often up close to the Solent Forts.
Once back on land passengers can look around the craft, in the Engine Bay and cockpit – with plenty of opportunities to take photos.
The pilot also offers a Q&A session and all passengers leave with an Experience Certificate as a memento.
The total experience lasts approximately one hour – but will be remembered for so much longer!
