Shoreline Productions is thrilled to bring the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away to the Isle of Wight for the very first time.

The show will take place from Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th September 2026 at the spectacular Robin Hill Amphitheatre.

Based on the remarkable true story that unfolded in the aftermath of 11th September 2001, Come From Away tells the inspiring tale of 7,000 stranded airline passengers and the small Newfoundland town of Gander that welcomed them with open arms.

As cultures clash, barriers break down, and lifelong friendships are formed, this uplifting musical celebrates kindness, compassion, and the extraordinary power of community in the face of adversity.

Featuring a soaring Celtic-inspired score played by a live orchestra, unforgettable characters, and heartwarming storytelling, Come From Away has captivated audiences around the world and become one of the most beloved musicals of the modern era.

This production marks a major milestone for Shoreline Productions and Robin Hill, as one of the first-ever musicals to be staged in the stunning Robin Hill Amphitheatre.

Set amongst beautiful woodland surroundings, this unique outdoor venue provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable theatrical experience unlike anything previously seen on the Island.

This will be a moving, joyous and incredibly clever ensemble piece under the open sky.

Whether you’re discovering Come From Away for the first time or returning to a favourite musical, this promises to be an event not to be missed.

Doors open at 7.00pm and the bar will be stocked with snacks and refreshments – an opportunity to catch up with friends and family before the show ​starts at 8.00pm.

The show is one act and approximately one hour and 40 minutes long with no interval. It is considered suitable for those aged 10-years-old and above.

This is an outdoor production, so please come prepared for all weather conditions. Performances will continue in light rain whenever possible, so audiences are encouraged to bring appropriate clothing, including jumpers for cooler evening temperatures, as well as sunglasses, waterproofs and rain hats as required. Please do not bring umbrellas as this will obstruct the audience’s view.

As both the stage and auditorium are completely uncovered, there may be occasions where performances need to pause, restart, or have their start time delayed due to weather conditions or forecasts.

Should a performance be cancelled as a last resort due to severe weather, ticket holders will be offered the opportunity to exchange their tickets for an alternative performance date, subject to availability. Please note that refunds will not be issued due to weather-related cancellations. If a performance is cancelled, all ticket holders will be notified by email.

All seating within the amphitheatre is unallocated and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone requiring accessible seating is advised to arrive in good time before the performance.

The Robin Hill Amphitheatre is accessible for wheelchair users. Dedicated wheelchair spaces are located at the rear of the left-hand seating section. An accessibility seating row is also available directly in front of these spaces for companions accompanying wheelchair users, as well as patrons with other accessibility requirements. Please note that there is one step down to access this seating row.

Accessible toilet facilities are available within the main toilet block located near the entrance to Robin Hill Country Park.

Please be aware that there is an approximate five-minute walk from the car park to the theatre via the Robin Hill main entrance. If you have any concerns regarding access, we recommend contacting us in advance of your visit.

Only registered assistance dogs are permitted within the venue. No other dogs are allowed.

For safety reasons, prams and pushchairs are not permitted inside the auditorium. A designated buggy park will be available outside the theatre entrance for their storage during the performance.

Please note that this production may contain loud sound effects, flashing lights, haze and other theatrical special effects. Audience members who may be sensitive to these elements should take this into consideration when booking.
